About Goldilocks Wraps

Finding ‘Just Right’

The Goldilocks Zone is what scientists call the part of Earth that’s ideal for sustaining life: not too hot, not too cold. We named ourselves Goldilocks because we believe that lasting change stems not from extremes, but from balance.

We found that people were often overwhelmed at the start of their zero waste journey, and so ended up doing nothing. But we think the key is to make small changes that can be maintained long term, then add in new habits over time.

We’re Six Thoughtful Hands

We make each reusable beeswax wrap by hand in small batches. From the washing and cutting of the cotton, to waxing piece by piece, to folding and packaging, we do it all ourselves.

Amy Hall
Our Founder is an art historian and ocean lover who was able to combine both her passions into Goldilocks Wraps. After volunteering with a shark conservation program in the South Pacific, she was devastated by the ocean plastics problem globally. This compelled Amy to start her journey towards zero waste, which soon inspired her to start her ever-growing business.

Brett Higson
Brett wears a lot of hats around here:  Business Partner, Director of Operations, Wholesale Manager, Right Hand Man, Finance Guy, Onsite Builder. His unconventional background includes various self-employed and entrepreneurial vocations. A true minimalist, Brett’s passion for a low waste lifestyle is driven by a “less is more" philosophy.

Whitney Martin
Whitney is our Shipping Manager and Customer Experience Specialist. Have you ever reached out to us with questions? If so, you’ve likely had the pleasure of chatting with Whit.  A Vancouver Island transplant from the Prairies, she made her West Coast dreams come true in 2016. She brings a truly unique perspective and set of skills to Team Goldi that keeps us sparkling.
