Video Reviews: Call for Submissions

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility and Acceptance: By participating in the Goldilocks Goods Video Submission Contest (the "Contest"), participants ("Participants") acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions. Participation is voluntary.

2. Video Submission: Submission of a video does not guarantee selection or any form of compensation. All decisions related to selection are at the sole discretion of Goldilocks Goods.

3. Compensation: a. If a submitted video is chosen and shared organically on Goldilocks Goods' official social media channels, the Participant will be compensated with a product (either physical or gift card) valued at $50 CAD. b. If a submitted video is selected for advertising purposes, the Participant will receive monetary compensation, either through e-transfer or a visa gift card (or equivalent), valuing $50 CAD.

4. Media Release: By submitting a video, Participants grant Goldilocks Goods an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide right and license to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, and display the video in any medium, including but not limited to, advertising, promotional materials, and social media platforms.

5. Warranty & Representation: Participants represent and warrant that: a. They own or control all rights to the submitted video. b. The video does not infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party. c. They have obtained all necessary permissions and consents from any individuals appearing or mentioned in the video.

6. Limitation of Liability: Goldilocks Goods is not responsible for any unauthorized use of submitted videos by third parties. 

7. User Generated Content (UGC): By submitting a video, Participants understand that their content becomes UGC. Goldilocks Goods has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, screen, post, remove, modify, store and review UGC or communications sent through its platforms, at any time and for any reason, including to ensure that the UGC or communication conforms to these terms, without prior notice to you.

8. Indemnity: Participants agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Goldilocks Goods, its affiliates, agents, directors, officers, employees, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs) resulting or arising from their submitted video and any breach of these Terms & Conditions.

9. Governing Law: These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Canada. Participants agree to resolve any dispute or claim arising out of their participation in the Contest in the courts of Canada.

10. Amendments: Goldilocks Goods reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms & Conditions without notice at any time, and for any reason.
